We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available. Your primary duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and managing the flow of goods within the warehouse. You will work closely with the receiving, shipping, and operations departments to ensure seamless inventory management. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management software is essential. You will also be involved in optimizing storage solutions and improving overall warehouse efficiency. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves some physical activity, including occasional Lifting of up to 25 lbs. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report on stock aging and turnover.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely stock adjustments.
- Identify and recommend improvements to inventory processes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including occasional Lifting.
