We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This position is integral to our **logistics** operations, responsible for managing inventory and fulfilling orders efficiently. You will contribute to the smooth functioning of our warehouse, upholding the highest standards of **safety** and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming inventory.
- Organize and store merchandise according to warehouse protocols.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (**PPE** required).
- Ensure all **safety** guidelines are followed during all tasks, including proper **Lifting** techniques.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, contributing to overall **safety**.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to **logistics** and warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Good communication skills.
