Join our premier logistics team as a Forklift Operator in Provo, Utah! We are seeking certified and experienced forklift operators to manage the movement of goods within our busy warehouse. Your skill in operating forklifts safely and efficiently is critical to our daily operations, from unloading inbound shipments to staging outbound orders. This role requires precision, adherence to Safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper placement of inventory.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and location verification.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of Safe operating procedures and regulations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding logistics setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
