We are seeking a diligent and energetic Order Picker to join our fast-paced logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by retrieving items from warehouse shelves. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount in this role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and contribute to the seamless operation of our warehouse. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure all orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using an order sheet or scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately to a supervisor.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed picking productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
