We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy fulfillment center in Seattle, Washington. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and accurately. You will be part of a vibrant team responsible for processing a high volume of orders, making this a fast-paced and rewarding position within our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and preparing packages for shipment.
- Restock picked items and maintain organized storage areas.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capacity for Lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Safety practices in a warehouse setting.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Must be willing to wear and use required PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
