We are hiring an Order Picker in Phoenix, Arizona, to be a key part of our warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that the correct products are picked and prepared for shipment. You will navigate the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners, contributing to the efficient flow of goods and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is physically fit, capable of significant Lifting, and committed to upholding safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify product identification and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
- Pack picked items securely and prepare them for staging and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage immediately.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity targets.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Must be able to read and understand order information.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Must comply with all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
