We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our thriving operations in Sacramento, California. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of our logistics network, encompassing a wide range of warehouse activities. You will be responsible for tasks such as receiving and unloading shipments, accurately storing inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing goods for dispatch. A thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace are essential. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. We prioritize the safety of our employees, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The ideal candidate will be dependable, have a strong work ethic, and possess the physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including frequent lifting. You should be capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain operational excellence within our logistics hub. Responsibilities include: Receiving and verifying incoming inventory; Storing goods in appropriate warehouse locations; Accurately picking items for customer orders; Packing products securely for shipment; Loading and unloading trucks; Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse; Operating material handling equipment; Assisting with inventory cycle counts and audits; Following all established safety procedures and utilizing proper PPE. This position requires the capacity for regular lifting up to 40 lbs and extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders with accuracy and speed.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Support logistics and shipping departments.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and WMS is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and committed to punctuality.
