Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment and machinery within our distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role is crucial for upholding the integrity of our supply chain and preventing costly downtime. You will work closely with the operations team to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, pallet jacks, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of all equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Operate a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and repair logs.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Respond to emergency repair calls to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Support the logistics and operations teams in any technical capacity needed.
  • Be prepared for tasks that may involve significant Lifting of materials or components.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to wear appropriate PPE.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring Lifting and extended periods of standing/walking.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
