We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse facility. You'll handle a variety of tasks, from unloading shipments to preparing goods for dispatch, all while prioritizing Safety and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and identify incoming materials and products.
- Move materials to and from storage areas using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training available).
- Sort, organize, and stack materials to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including counting, packing, and labeling.
- Conduct regular checks of inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Operate hand tools and other equipment as needed for material handling tasks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
