Join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your primary responsibility will be to locate, retrieve, and prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role is crucial to our logistics operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. You will be working with a variety of products, so adaptability is key.
Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use handheld scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order slips.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
