This role is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, meticulously packed, and prepared for timely shipment. You will utilize RF scanning technology to locate products, confirm order accuracy, and maintain efficient workflow. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to workplace safety are crucial for success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and RF scanner instructions.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages with correct shipping information.
- Conduct quality control checks on all picked and packed orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Meet or exceed established productivity targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A proactive approach to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
