We are seeking an organized and efficient Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Dallas, Texas. This critical role ensures that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting our high standards for quality and timeliness. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment contents, managing shipping supplies, and ensuring that all packages are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch. You will play a key role in our supply chain, working closely with warehouse staff and external partners. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics software is beneficial. We are committed to a safe working environment, and adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. While this role is primarily administrative, some physical tasks such as lifting boxes may be required. If you possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities include:
- Generating shipping labels and preparing bills of lading.
- Verifying outgoing shipments against orders for accuracy.
- Communicating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and tracking information.
- Managing shipping supplies and inventory.
- Ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assisting with resolving shipping discrepancies or issues.
