Our busy logistics center in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team! This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods through our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against shipping documents.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and accurately using RF scanners.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification/training provided).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times and follow all safety procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
