We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution network. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and accuracy. We are looking for individuals who can adapt to a dynamic work environment and contribute to our overall success in logistics. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations, utilizing appropriate equipment.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment based on order forms and system data.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit, ensuring correct labeling.
- Operate various warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification may be required), and RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts by working collaboratively to meet operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and wearing required PPE.
