We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve materials within our warehouse facility. Your primary focus will be on maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely movement of goods. This role is crucial to our daily operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards. You will operate a reach truck to move pallets and other materials to and from racking systems, ensuring proper placement and stability. Attention to detail is paramount as you'll be responsible for verifying product codes and quantities against shipping and receiving documents. Adhering strictly to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including significant Lifting, is expected in this role. You will collaborate closely with other warehouse personnel, including supervisors and forklift operators, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is also a key responsibility. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and prioritizes safety above all else. A minimum of 1 year of experience operating a reach truck is required, along with a valid certification. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve goods.
- Load and unload trailers as needed.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck operator certification.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and knowledge of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
