Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada? We are hiring a skilled individual to operate forklifts and perform a variety of material handling tasks within our modern warehouse facility. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, supporting our extensive logistics network. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and assisting with other warehouse operations. A proven track record of safe operation and efficiency is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers efficiently and securely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly staging and identifying products.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to logistics and safety.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrable experience.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow.
- Excellent safety record and commitment to safe operating practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance expectations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
