Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in Charlotte, North Carolina! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order slips and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail. You will work within a dynamic logistics environment and must be committed to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, using correct packing materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting any discrepancies or stock issues.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe work environment.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
