Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers with efficiency.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklifts.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Contribute to team goals for productivity and accuracy in logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must wear appropriate PPE provided by the company.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
