We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their items quickly and accurately. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets and carefully packaging them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will be crucial in meeting our service level agreements. This logistics position requires a high level of accuracy, the ability to work efficiently, and a strong commitment to safety. You will work with various scanning devices and must be comfortable navigating a warehouse environment. We provide comprehensive training on all aspects of the job, including safe lifting practices and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys being part of a productive team. Prior experience in order picking or packing is a plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and overall warehouse efficiency.
This role involves significant walking, standing, and requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. We are dedicated to providing a safe and efficient logistics environment for all our employees.
