We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. - Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
- Operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety checks.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance to management.
- Ensure adherence to all Lifting guidelines and best practices to prevent injuries.
- Manage the efficient flow of materials within the logistics environment.
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a logistics setting. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of Safety procedures and best practices. Understanding of PPE requirements.
