Our state-of-the-art distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our supply chain, involving the handling, movement, and processing of goods. You will perform a range of tasks, including receiving inventory, storing products, picking orders, and preparing shipments. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, emphasizing the importance of following all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and stage orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transport.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including correct PPE usage.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Knowledge of proper Safety practices is essential.
