Our Distribution Center in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking an energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dedicated logistics team. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving a variety of tasks critical to the efficient handling and movement of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Ensuring a safe working environment is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all Safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds and consistent movement throughout the workday. We are looking for team players who are reliable, efficient, and committed to accuracy. Your work directly contributes to the seamless flow of our supply chain. We encourage a culture of continuous improvement and provide pathways for professional development within our growing logistics network. Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, including receiving and inspecting goods.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution center environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
