We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by accurately and efficiently retrieving products from storage to fulfill customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to navigate the warehouse, locate specific items using order sheets or scanning equipment, and prepare them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be working in a fast-paced setting, so efficiency and the ability to manage multiple tasks are highly valued. We are committed to providing a secure workplace and require all employees to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and walking. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies immediately.
- Meet performance targets for order picking speed and accuracy.
