Compensation:

$95,000 - $175,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a developing docket of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, with increasing autonomy as experience grows
  • Conduct legal research and translate findings into practical, strategic recommendations
  • Draft pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, and briefs with precision and persuasive clarity
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court conferences
  • Assist in developing litigation strategy, valuation, and settlement posture in collaboration with senior counsel
  • Argue routine motions and court appearances as appropriate
  • Work closely with paralegals, investigators, medical providers, and expert witnesses to build compelling liability and damages cases
  • Maintain organized, deadline-driven case files and calendars
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, keeping them informed and confident throughout the litigation process
  • Stay current on relevant statutes, procedural rules, and case law affecting personal-injury litigation
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and an active New Jersey bar license
  • 1–3 years of litigation experience , preferably in personal injury or insurance defense
  • Ability to manage a heavy caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Experience handling depositions, motion hearings, and client communications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional judgment, integrity, and a client-first mindset
  • A genuine desire to grow as a trial lawyer and contribute to a high-performing team
