Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned.
* Plan, lead and conduct push-in speech services for small groups
* Provide direct and indirect speech services to students who have been diagnosed with an academically-based communication disorders in areas of articulation, expressive and receptive language, and social pragmatics.
* Perform diagnostic assessments of speech, and language impairments; and determines the presence/absence of communication deficits which adversely impacts academic progress.
* Determine goals and objectives for the students on your caseload
* Serves as a resource to school staff members by being a contributing member of a comprehensive academic team.
* Collaborate with the therapeutic team, teaching teams, administrative staff, and outside professionals in order to provide individualized support to reach individual goals.
* Provides speech therapy to meet individual students’ needs and help remediate speech and language deficits.
* Report on student progress
* Coordinate goals and objectives with the classroom teacher and administrative team
* Participates in “kid talk” meetings and school committees.
* Maintain documentation required to describe goals and objectives including copies of session notes.

Qualifications
* Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
* Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
