Company: Highmark Inc. Job Description: JOB SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Senior Reporting Data Analyst to join our team at Highmark Inc. In this role, you will collect, validate, analyze, and organize data into meaningful computerized reports. Your expertise will help manipulate and extract data to satisfy customer needs, generate reports using both mainframe and PC applications, and develop new applications/programs as required. You'll create efficient work plans, meet deadlines, and maintain clear communication regarding report status. Additionally, you'll tackle business problems associated with automated systems by providing insightful data analysis and suggesting effective solutions. As a part of Health Now Administrative Services (HNAS), you'll be involved in delivering flexible and cost-effective solutions for employee health benefits. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Generate comprehensive reports via mainframe and PC applications, utilizing existing tools or developing new applications as needed. Create custom files/reports in both mainframe and PC formats/applications. Design work plans to ensure timely delivery, accurately estimate completion timelines, and communicate status updates. Resolve technical issues related to automated systems, conduct analyses, craft and implement test plans, and propose viable solutions. Perform other tasks as assigned or requested. EDUCATION Required High School Diploma/GED Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Math, Computer Science, Quantitative Business Analysis, or a related field. EXPERIENCE Required 5-10 years of relevant experience in data analysis and reporting. Experience with end-user reporting tools. Preferred Experience with SAS, Excel, and various databases.
