The Inbound Receiver is responsible for all merchandise unloaded inside the Distribution Center. S/he must make sure that the load comes in the appropriate temperature and accordantly with Cardenas Markets Receiving Policy. The Inbound Receiver is also in charge of capturing the attributes for every pallet on the DC system and labeling them accordingly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure trailer is under safe and clean condition before unloading. Confirm all purchase orders (POs) are received according to their schedule and with the proper bill of lading (BOL). Make sure the quantity matches the BOL and physically correct BOL if needed. Make sure all staged products pass by Quality Control department before BOL sign-in. Ensure all Labels print out are placed to the right corner of the corresponding pallet. Send all BOLs received to DC office in a timely manner. Report via email any PO received after receiving hours and/or without appointment. Notify Buyers regarding any rejected PO. Make sure the workstation and department are clean before end of shift. Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1+ year(s) of experience in a warehouse environment. Teamwork oriented and self-motivated. Strong attention to detail. Ability to use a computer. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Good attendance and punctual; must show up on time and able to work scheduled shifts and mandatory overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Electric pallet jack and reach experience is preferred. Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility. Schedule may include weekends and overtime. Physical Demands
Required to stand for long periods of time. Frequent lifting of material up to 75 pounds Frequently twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and pulling; handle tools or controls; Reaching with hands and arms; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Work is normally performed in a warehouse/production environment. As part of the job requirements, Team Members may be exposed to work in a production setting and extreme temperature (10 to 100 degrees) at times. Facility regularly processes known food allergens, including peanuts. Pay Scale $20.00. The pay scale above is a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
