Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age policies.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and retail math calculations for change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet service to ensure timely food and beverage delivery.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar stations without compromising quality or service speed.
• Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and responsible serving practices at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST POS or SPOT on POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Demonstrated ability in food service or hospitality roles, including serving, catering, or restaurant experience.
• Strong skills in sales techniques and customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and promote beverage offerings.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
• Experience working in the food industry with an emphasis on retail math, basic math skills, cash handling, and cashiering duties.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Pay: $5.00 - $7.00 per hour
