Position Overview: Logistics & Asset Coordinator (Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to join our operations team in a part-time capacity at our Jackson office. This role will primarily focus on supporting asset lifecycle processes and operational workflows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, naturally process-driven, and adept at managing time efficiently. Additionally, they demonstrate adaptability and a proactive mindset, eager to take on diverse responsibilities that ensure seamless operational performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Receiving & Inventory Management

    • Receive and log all incoming parts, hardware, and assets, verifying quantities and condition.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure proper storage.
  • Asset Handling & Logistics

    • Prepare assets for deployment, including labeling, basic configuration, and packaging (no prior technical background required; training provided).
    • Coordinate outbound shipments of assets and return boxes; ensure proper documentation and tracking.
  • Workspace & Recycling

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workbench area for asset preparation and repairs.
    • Manage recycling processes (e.g., cardboard).
    • Process retired assets for proper disposal or recycling, following company guidelines.
  • Operational Support

    • Assist with documentation and tracking of asset lifecycle activities.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of operational tasks.
    • Support additional operational initiatives as needed to improve efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking assets and inventory.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and learn new processes quickly.

  • Prior experience in positions emphasizing organization, operational coordination, administrative support, or structured task management is preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Repetitive hand motions at the computer keyboard.

  • Sitting and/or standing during work hours.

  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.

Location:

This is a part-time, on-site position requiring 25 hours or less per week, typically on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with some flexibility in scheduling. Work hours will fall between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Mountain Time. Specific hours will be determined based on team coverage needs and your availability.

This role is based in our local office, and you may occasionally be asked to assist with onsite client needs.
