We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Engage with customers to provide assistance and answer inquiries about products and services.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to enhance customer understanding and drive sales.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
• Supervise junior staff members as required, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Uphold phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries, ensuring professionalism at all times.
• Apply basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales with a strong focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks effectively, ensuring an appealing store layout.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Experience in supervising staff is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
