*Contract:* Full-time, permanent
*Salary:* £23,903 - £28,936 per annum (depending on experience)
We’re seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support across our organisation. You’ll help keep our staff connected and confident by resolving IT issues, managing devices, and supporting new system rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
* Set up and configure laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and user accounts
* Maintain accurate records using our ticketing system and escalate complex issues
* Support system rollouts and deliver user training
* Manage IT equipment inventory, procurement, and software licences
* Document IT solutions and contribute to policy and knowledge base updates
About You
* GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
* Basic IT qualification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals)
* Experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Confident explaining IT concepts to non-technical users
* Full UK driving licence (required for travel between sites)
*Desirable:*
* ITIL Foundation, Network+, or further IT certifications
* Experience in education, charity, or multi-site environments
* Familiarity with cloud/SaaS systems and helpdesk software
