Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated AP PreCalculus and AP Calculus Tutor to inspire students in mastering advanced mathematics concepts. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to AP PreCalculus and AP Calculus curricula, ensuring alignment with educational standards.
• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions that clarify complex topics such as trigonometry, differential equations, geometry, and statistics.
• Utilize various learning technologies and digital tools to enhance understanding and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and discussions; adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.
• Support students in developing problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and exam preparation techniques for AP assessments.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment by managing student behavior effectively and encouraging active participation.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to monitor student progress and provide feedback on performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in advanced mathematics subjects including algebra, geometry, calculus (including differential equations), statistics, trigonometry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, data structures, discrete math, and machine learning.
• Experience working with high school or college students in tutoring or classroom settings; familiarity with AP curriculum is preferred.
• Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and the use of learning technology tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
• Demonstrated experience working with children or young adults; background in special education or early childhood education is advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer skills relevant to online tutoring platforms and educational software.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning styles and needs; experience with adult education is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, organic chemistry, microbiology, genetics, chemical engineering principles is beneficial for interdisciplinary instruction.
