Position Summary
We are looking for a
Weekend
Sanitation Lead
to help maintain a safe, clean, and compliant facility. In this role, you will coordinate daily sanitation activities, support team development, and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.

Bethlehem, PA

Schedule:
Friday to Monday Weekend Work Schedule

Hours:
4:00 am – 2:30 pm

How You'll Impact Results

• Lead & coordinate daily sanitation tasks to ensure equipment, production areas, and the facility meet cleanliness standards
• Design, implement, and continuously improve the facility's Master Sanitation Program by establishing cleaning protocols and verifying effectiveness through audits and swabbing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GMPs, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements
• Support the development and training of team members on procedures, safety practices, and proper chemical usage
• Maintain sanitation schedules, documentation, and records for audits and inspections
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and assist with environmental swab testing to verify readiness for production
• Identify and troubleshoot sanitation issues, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to support smooth operations
• Monitor sanitation supply levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain adequate inventory
• Report any sanitation or safety concerns to management promptly

Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success

• Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical training preferred
• Experience Required: 3+ years of sanitation experience required within a food, beverage, or Consumer Goods manufacturing or industrial environment
• Prior exposure to CIP (Clean in Place) sanitation is a plus
• Preferred experience leading, guiding, and/or mentoring team members as a Sanitation Lead, Sanitation Coordinator, Industrial Hygienist, Sanitation Supervisor, or Sanitation Team Lead
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, equipment, and cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with FDA and/or USDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Physical abilities/ requirements:
• Stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Work in variable climates including heat, cold, humid, and wet environments
