Equipment Operator/Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and supporting Land Clearing Material Recycling operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
• Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to timelines and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and work performed throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, or horizontal drilling rigs.
• Mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and troubleshooting skills.
• Prior experience working on construction sites with familiarity in excavation
• Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in heavy equipment operation is essential.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
