Location: Independent Automotive Dealership

Job Summary

Our independent automotive dealership is seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnosing and repairing multiple vehicle brands, with a strong emphasis on European vehicles such as BMW, Audi, Volkswagen (VW), Mercedes-Benz, and similar makes. This role is well-suited for a self-driven professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and accurate diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Specialize in European vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brakes, inspections, and fluid services
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues efficiently
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Ensure all work meets dealership quality standards and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle brands, with strong experience in European vehicles (BMW, Audi, VW, Mercedes-Benz, etc.)
• Must own and maintain a complete set of professional tools
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive certifications (ASE or manufacturer-specific certifications)
• Previous experience working in an independent dealership or European specialty shop
