Dr. Snipes and Associates is seeking a highly motivated, dependable Office Manager with strong communication and leadership skills to oversee daily operations and support exceptional patient care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, leading by example, and working in a fast-paced medical environment.
Position Overview
The Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth office operations, excellent patient experiences, and strong team performance. This position includes hands-on responsibilities in both clinical support and front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations with a patient-first mindset
- Lead and support front desk and clinical workflow
- Schedule associates and manage staffing coverage
- Support performance management, coaching, and accountability
- Provide exceptional patient and customer service
- Assist with optical technician duties, including:
- Operating medical instruments (training provided)
- Accurately obtaining medical and refractive information
- Oversee front desk functions, including:
- Appointment scheduling
- Insurance verification and accuracy
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Contact lens sales and patient education
- Build and maintain strong internal team relationships and external patient relationships
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to learn quickly and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Dependable, team-oriented, and accountable
- Flexible availability preferred
Experience & Education
- No degree, license, or certification required
- Prior experience in medical, optical, customer service, or leadership roles is a plus
- Training provided for clinical and technical responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
