Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Starbucks Shift Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, hospitality, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, maintaining high standards of customer service, and managing staff to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. The Shift Supervisor will play a key role in supporting store operations, training new team members, and upholding Starbucks' commitment to quality and safety.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing training, coaching, and development to foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation, beverage crafting, and overall food handling procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions including cash handling.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and control waste to optimize store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards across all operational areas.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
  • Assist with shift management duties including scheduling, staffing adjustments, and performance evaluations.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and store cleanliness.
  • Participate in staff training sessions on food safety, product knowledge, and operational procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management roles such as restaurant supervisor or assistant manager.
  • Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, or culinary experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a team management setting.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.
  • Prior experience in coffee or barista roles is advantageous but not required; relevant hotel or catering experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to train staff effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
