Shuttle Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to operate vehicles for transporting passengers safely and efficiently. This role involves providing excellent customer service while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or as a delivery driver, with strong communication skills and a focus on safety.

Part Time: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:15am - 5:30pm

Duties

• Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, or other commercial vehicles to transport passengers to designated locations
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing exceptional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including routine inspections and minor repairs
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure passenger safety at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and passengers regarding schedules, delays, or route changes
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading luggage or cargo
• Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready for daily operations

Experience

• Previous experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or in a similar commercial driving role such as limousine or school bus driving
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license) with a clean driving record
• Experience with paratransit services or heavy lifting is a plus
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to assist in routine upkeep and troubleshooting
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 per week
