Über

Warehouse Staff team members support the manufacturing operations by ensuring that the correct materials are staged and positioned at each operation. This position also requires adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while assuring the quality and quantity of the product produced. Hiring for 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 2:30pm-12:30am).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect leftover materials from previous jobs and verify they are properly tagged/labeled before placing them back in stock.
  • Organize shipping orders by work order number. Complete paperwork and collect information such as weight, size, quantity etc. to facilitate the shipping process.
  • Double check the information contained on the packing list to make sure it matches with physical inventory.
  • Strap and wrap pallets prior to shipping.
  • Unload and count new shipments and document serial number in Radius (Eagle's Enterprise Resource Planning software system).
  • Pull and stage all work order materials according to schedule.
  • Support facility sanitation and food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout all warehouse areas.
  • Perform cycle counting on materials and other inventory at specified intervals, notify Manager of any discrepancies, and make necessary updates in Radius.
  • Perform and verify daily safety and sanitation checklists for material handling equipment like forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment daily including forklifts, reach trucks, and electric and manual pallet jacks.
  • Using a company vehicle, transport material between local facilities as needed.
  • Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times. Escalate any issues/concerns to management.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to maximize productivity.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, including safe operation of equipment.
  • Proven ability to learn new software programs.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, and climb a ladder and stairs.
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to work an overnight shift (if applicable for 2nd/3rd shift positions).
  • Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment that includes, but may not be limited to, forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to be insured on a company vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant warehouse experience strongly preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software.
  • Experience using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners.
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
  • CDL or class C commercial license for operating company box truck.
  • Experience in the flexible packaging industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

  • 401K Plan – Plan entry date is the first of the month following 6 months of service. Eagle provides its employees with a 100% match up to 1% and 50% match up to 6%.
  • Company Paid Short Term Disability – The Short Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
  • Company Paid Long Term Disability – The Long Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
  • Life Insurance – The Basic Life premium is 100% paid by Eagle and is a flat $20,000 benefit for all FT, benefit eligible employees. Employees have the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance for self, spouse, and dependent children.
  • Vacation/PTO: The amount of vacation/paid time off (PTO) employees receive each year starts at 80 hours (2 weeks) each year, which accrues at a rate of 1.538 hours per week, and increases with the length of employment.
  • 8 Company Paid Holidays – Eligible after 60 days of employment.
  • Sick Leave – Eligible for paid sick days at the rate of 3 days (24 hours) per year after 6 months of service (prorated for per the calendar year).
  • Tuition Reimbursement – Following 6 months of employment, employees are eligible for reimbursement for courses, certifications, and training programs that support their Eagle careers.
