Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace powertrain components, diesel engines, and assist with ADAS calibration to ensure modern vehicle safety features function correctly.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or service advisors.
Experience
- Proven dealership or service technician experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting complex electronic components.
- Knowledge of ADAS systems calibration, and powertrain repairs including transmissions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to use diagnostic software.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 70.0 per week
