Senior Credentialing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Credentialing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managed care and medical office operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties:
- Oversee the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain provider credentialing files and databases
- Review and verify provider credentials, licenses, and certifications
- Communicate with providers to obtain missing or incomplete information
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all credentialing requirements are met
- Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to credentialing
- Assist in audits and quality assurance activities related to credentialing processes

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credentialing within a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office operations
- Strong knowledge of managed care principles and standards
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
