Shipping Manager

Klēn Earth Products is a fast growing personal care manufacturing business located in Orange County, CA. Our company is currently seeking a Shipping Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing all outbound shipments, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately, on time, and in compliance with company standards and carrier requirements. This role manages daily shipping operations, coordinates with internal teams and external carriers, and drives continuous improvement in shipping efficiency, cost, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping operations, including order fulfillment, packing, labeling, and dispatch
• Ensure on-time and accurate shipment of all customer and internal orders
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders
• Oversee shipping documentation, including BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork when applicable
• Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to optimize shipping methods and reduce expenses
• Troubleshoot shipping issues, delays, or damages and communicate resolutions to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Inventory teams
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping processes
• Train, supervise, and evaluate shipping staff to ensure safety, productivity, and accuracy
• Track and report shipping KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight spend, and error rates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse management experience
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping methods and carrier requirements
• Experience negotiating freight rates and managing carrier relationships
• Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager)
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
