What you'll do

Operate various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers to transport freight across designated routes.

Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring that all items are secured and transported safely.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.

Navigate routes effectively, adapting to changing traffic conditions while maintaining delivery schedules.

Utilize manual transmission skills when required, demonstrating versatility in vehicle operation.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transport.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting purposes.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.

Basic qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Proven experience in truck driving or delivery roles, showcasing your ability to handle various vehicle types including refrigerated trailers and dump trucks.

Preferred qualifications

Experience operating forklifts for loading and unloading tasks.

Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools to enhance delivery efficiency.

Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations related to commercial driving.
