Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Rio Vista Post Acute is currently seeking a passionate Housekeeping/Laundry Aide for our skilled nursing facility We're looking for hardworking, detail oriented, compassionate, culturally impactful and self-motivated professionals

Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces.
• Dispose of trash and follow infection control and facility cleanliness standards.
• Report maintenance needs when you see them.
• Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry (linens and resident clothing).
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Keep the laundry area neat, sanitized, and organized.
• Follow proper infection control procedures.
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Must be able to keep up with online industry learning modules

Qualifications:

Prior housekeeping experience (healthcare preferred but not required).

Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Able to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

A strong work ethic and attention to details.

Dependability and good communication skills.

Shifts: Full time - weekends as well
