Lead Carpenter

We're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in carpentry, construction, and a strong working knowledge of various tools. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on producing the best quality craftmanship and can work independently and lead a team. Compensation: $20 - $30 per hour, paid weekly. The compensation is based on experience, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Carpentry tasks including, replacing doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, vanities, tubs, showers, trim, and shelving.

• Repair various plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and pipes.

• Drywall repairs and finishing and ceiling repairs.

• Flooring installation.

• Prepare, prime, and paint interior surfaces.

• Electrical repairs, such as replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years as a Carpenter or Construction worker.

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, including drywall installation, flooring, and ceiling repairs.

• Familiarity with plumbing and electrical and ability to conduct repairs and replacements.

• Proficient in carpentry skills, including cabinetry, installing doors and windows, and repairing fixtures.

• Experience in operating and maintaining hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and lead a team.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable using ladders.

• Excellent time management skills and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.

• Maintain accurate weekly timecards of work performed and time spent on each job.

• Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

8 Hour shifts

Overtime as needed
