About the Role

As a Counter Sales Associate, you are the front line of our business. You'll greet customers, assist with sales and transactions, and help create a welcoming, professional experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

We are looking to complete our team with a motivated individual who brings knowledge and experience in electronics, along with a strong customer-first mindset.

This is an entry-to-mid-level position with clear opportunities for advancement into sales and lending roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping and service needs
• Provide friendly, professional, "rock star " customer service
• Sell merchandise across all store departments
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales, returns, exchanges, redemptions, and extensions
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced till
• Verify customer identification and follow all store procedures
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits
• Maintain clean, organized merchandising displays and counter areas
• Stock shelves and assist with inventory management and organization
• Perform basic retail math for transactions and inventory counts
• Maintain professional phone etiquette with customers and vendors
• Support promotional events, product demos, and special sales
• Assist with or supervise team members as needed
• Follow all company policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electronics (gaming systems, audio equipment, TVs, computers, or similar)
• Strong communication and people skills (bilingual abilities are a plus)
• Basic computer and POS system skills
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling preferred
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus (pawn, electronics, grocery, or similar environments preferred)
• Ability to perform basic math accurately
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Supervisory experience is a plus but not required
