About the RoleAs a Specification Sales Manager , you will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with consultants while uncovering exciting new business opportunities. Your mission? To promote Carrier solutions by providing top-notch product, design, and technical support, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You’ll focus on achieving sales targets, maintaining regular customer contact, securing orders, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with nominated and geographical mechanical consultants.
- Identify and target new potential customers, including M&E Consultants, Architects, and Developers.
- Provide product and project design support to clients.
- Achieve sales targets and drive new business development.
- Guide customers on the correct use and application of our products.
- Offer industry insights and guidance on legislation for future protection.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to track customer progress and highlight new business opportunities.
- Ensure regular communication with customers.
- Secure orders and develop inquiries.
- Meet and exceed customer requirements.
- Collect and report on industry knowledge and competitor analysis.
- Proven experience in building strong relationships with Consultants, M&E contractors, Architects, and AC contractors.
- Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems or chillers.
- Sales background in HVAC or a related field (experience with VRFs, chillers, or DX is a plus).
- Familiarity with competitor landscape.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Proficiency in MS Office and IT literacy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player.
