Location: London

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding EMEA Data Centre sales team. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to drive new business and cultivate strategic relationships with key data centre customers, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise end users, contractors, and consultants.

Your Mission:

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering both short-term wins and long-term growth for our Carrier Data Centre business. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Seek out net-new opportunities across hyperscaler, colocation, edge, enterprise, and replacement cycles.

  • Build Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic and hyperscaler accounts, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships at multiple levels.

  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineering, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery from order to commissioning.

  • Maintain a Robust Pipeline: Build and manage an insight-led pipeline aligned with a strategic account plan.

  • Drive Prospecting Efforts: Execute a disciplined prospecting cadence through outreach, events, and referrals to open new buying centres and projects.

  • Represent Us: Be our ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance our brand and pipeline.

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Experience: Strong background in Key Account Management, sales, or business development within data centre infrastructure. HVAC/chilled-water and airside cooling experience is highly valued.

  • Track Record: Proven success in managing large, complex accounts and achieving ambitious targets.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hydronic chilled-water and airside products applicable to data centre cooling is advantageous.

  • Value Proposition Skills: Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business value propositions and ROI.

  • Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, along with excellent time management and organization.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and utilize regional offices as needed. Proficiency in MS Office is essential.

  • Proactive Mindset: A hunter mentality with a focus on pipeline generation, resilience, and disciplined execution.

What We Offer You:

We believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Competitive Salary: Enjoy a competitive base salary.

  • Sales Bonus Scheme: Benefit from an uncapped sales bonus scheme with accelerators.

  • Company Vehicle: Choose between a company vehicle or a cash allowance.

  • Generous Holiday: 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, with a holiday purchase scheme available.

  • Pension Plan: Secure your future with our company pension scheme.

  • Career Growth: Shape the future of a high-performing sales team with ample opportunities for career progression and development.
