About The Role

Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Restaurant & QSR Department in beautiful Bognor Regis!

In this exciting role, you’ll report directly to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a key part in leading a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. At Butlin’s, making our guests smile is at the heart of everything we do, and you’ll ensure that they remain the central focus of all operational decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resource planning, recruitment, and selection to build the best team for delivering outstanding service.
• Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
• Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.

Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am and 3am, depending on the restaurant’s opening hours.

• Confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Additionally, you should have:

• A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Experience managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
