Exciting opportunities await in North Yorkshire! We are continuously hiring to meet the diverse needs of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).
At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to revolutionize the educational experience for young people facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner. Together, we can enhance engagement and transform educational journeys!

- Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other additional needs
- Support young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys
- Deliver flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
- Plan and execute each tutoring session tailored to individual needs
- Deliver holistic and engaging sessions that advance educational and social-emotional development
- Complete lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on progress
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status:- This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments
- You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE
- No guaranteed work or expense coverage is provided
- Our insurance covers the work you do for us
- This is not a self-employed tutoring position
